My name is Ivaylo Hristov. I am a self-taught artist. I`ve been painting since I was ten years old and now I`m specialized in pyrography. Some of my paintings are in pocession of private collectors form U.S., Greece, Czech Republic and Germany.
What is typical about my work is putting separate details one on top of the other, in order to increase the effect of the perspective and the capacity (size). The pyrography is a complex and long process that makes it not so popular, but very interesting art. Moreover, you can see about 30 or more single details in a picture. According to the complexity and the size, the time for making a phyrographic picture can take form five to six months. Wood is the material I use (beech-tree). Each one of the pictures is one of a kind. What is more, you can order a specific picture according to your preferences.
